Living with Renal Disease: The Native American Experience

This is a descriptive phenomenological study exploring the meaning and perceptions of Menominee Native Americans living with renal disease. The results revealed one new finding to the literature: the cultural scotoma of renal disease being a predetermined tribal fate.
