Improving Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Screening for Women at an Internal Medicine Clinic

This quality improvement project involved implementing a standardized process to improve gonorrhea and chlamydia screening among sexually active women 18 to 25 years at UW Health Union Corners Internal Medicine Clinic. This project was associated with an improvement in screening, with the post-intervention screening rate increasing to 81% (43/53), up from a baseline of 61% (17/28).
